Founded in 1998, the Institut de Langue Arabe (ILAR) is a branch of the Islamic Social Institution in Senegal. Its mission is to promote the Arabic language among Senegalese people and Arab and foreign communities living in Senegal.
ILAR provides learners with the educational tools and skills needed to master Arabic both orally and in writing, while also offering opportunities to discover the richness of Arabic language and Islamic culture. The institute also focuses on developing strong academic skills in Arabic grammar, morphology, and syntax.
